Tributes have poured in for Australian TV legend Robin Eastwood who passed away with her production company paying tribute to the icon on social media.

Artemis Media said they were devastated about her passing and remembered Eastwood as a “much loved and admired” member of their family.

“Robin has been a force in our industry, and we’ve had the privilege of working with her over the last 20 years on many series,” the statement said.

Eastwood, 62, was involved in many television series including Desperately Seeking Sheila, Who Do You Think You Are?, Monash and Me, and Every Family has a Secret.

She has worked with many Australian stars throughout her career including Toni Collette, Geoffrey Rush, Jacki Weaver and Susie Porter.

“Her teams felt looked after and supported, and she generously shared her knowledge through her mentoring.

“Robin was a loyal friend to many and we will all miss her dearly. Our thoughts are with Robin’s much loved family. “

Comedian KC Martin-Stone wrote on social media that Eastwood was always such a powerhouse at getting things done.

“Such a huge loss.”

“Interacting with Robin was a small moment of joy in the often fraught process of production,” one person wrote.
